The project
Limewashed off-whites, sand hues and honest texture, held in a single continuous surface. The design language is restrained; the microcement carries it without a joint, a grout line or a threshold to interrupt it.
A shoreline is a hard brief. Salt spray, ultraviolet and daily wash-downs work on a surface continuously, and sand collects wherever a joint gives it somewhere to sit. Marine-tuned topcoats answer the first problem; a grout-free build answers the second.
2–3 mm over the existing substrate, satin-sealed. High abrasion resistance, and slip-tuned where wet footprints are common.
Continuous surfaces sanitise quickly after beach traffic — no joints to trap sand or moisture, and a fast turnaround between cleans.
Low-VOC topcoats and a durable life cycle can contribute to LEED v4 and Mostadam under indoor environmental quality and materials. Test reports and VOC declarations are issued at submittal.
Microcement is a cementitious and polymer system — not lime, not clay. It is the right answer where traffic and hygiene lead, and we say so plainly.
Beyond the floor
The same finish runs through the guest-facing sales centre, the hair and grooming studio, and the custom built-ins — service counters, display plinths, benches, daybeds, reception desks and planter bases. All sand-toned, all satin-sealed, all monolithic at 2–3 mm.
