Natural finishes in Abu Dhabi

Every new building in the emirate carries a rating, so a wall finish arrives with paperwork attached rather than a sample board alone. We have supplied and installed here, and we publish the status of every certificate we hold.

1 Pearl Required on all new buildings in the emirate since 2010
2 Pearl Required on government-funded buildings
~200 Artisanal applicators, all directly employed on our own sponsorship
1 Party for supply and installation, so responsibility never splits

What Abu Dhabi asks of a schedule

Abu Dhabi rates everything. The Estidama programme and its Pearl Rating System have required at least 1 Pearl on all new buildings in the emirate since 2010, and at least 2 Pearl on government-funded ones. The practical effect on a finishes schedule is that a sample board is no longer an answer: the finish has to arrive with documentation, and that documentation has to still be valid.

So we publish the certificate register rather than summarising it. Every document is named with its issuing body and its expiry date, and an expired document is described as expired — including the Clayworks Environmental Product Declaration, which expired in November 2025 and is being renewed. A product contributes to a rating; it is never certified by the scheme, and any supplier who tells you otherwise is describing something that does not exist.

The emirate is also coastal along most of its developed edge, which puts salt and humidity into the exposure picture for anything external. That changes which materials are candidates before colour is discussed at all.

What we have built here

We have supplied and installed natural finishes in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. That work is not published by name, so we will not list it here — naming a client who has not agreed to be named is not something we do.

What we can put in front of you instead is everything that does not depend on a photograph: the certificate register with its expiry dates, a physical sample in the finish you are considering, and a mock-up built on your own site. The approved mock-up panel then becomes the standard the finished work is measured against, which is a firmer commitment than any reference photograph.
