Rammed earth — our signature capability

Earth, compacted in lifts, until it becomes a wall.

No one else in the region has built complete projects in rammed earth. We have — among them the UAE Pavilion at Expo 2023 Doha, which took the Gold Award for Best Self-Built Pavilion.

Every wall begins with the soil: tested, trial-mixed, and the mix design signed off before anything is built. Architects need the geometry at concept stage, not after the wall is drawn.

Date palms rising against in-situ rammed earth garden walls, the lift lines running through the strata Rammed Earth In-situ walls rammed in lifts on site — or the same strata as a plaster finish. Smooth brown clay plaster above a terracotta leather banquette at Massara restaurant, New York Clay Plaster Breathes, buffers humidity, holds its colour through the body. Sculpted display niches in Microtadelakt lime plaster at Afraa Boutique, Place Vendome, Lusail Lime Plaster & Tadelakt Hardens by absorbing carbon dioxide; resists mould by its own chemistry. Seamless microcement atrium floor seen from above at King Fahad Cultural Centre, Riyadh Microcement Seamless floors and walls in millimetres, over what is already there. Seamless acoustic plaster ceiling panel framed by timber slats in a meeting room at Banca d’Italia, Rome Acoustic Plaster A ceiling that absorbs sound across its whole surface.
