The project
At Omorovicza’s flagship Mayfair spa, Smooth clay plaster was chosen to reflect the mineral-rich products of the Hungarian skincare brand. The design evokes the textures and tones of the architecturally significant Rácz Thermal Bath in Budapest, which was built by ancestors of the brand’s founder.
The space was designed to reflect Omorovicza’s provenance and products as much as possible. The clay plaster’s soft, natural finish complements the other elemental materials in the space such as travertine, copper, and terracotta, contributing to a layered spatial language rooted in texture, tactility, and heritage.
Applicator: Cain Hudson.
Where possible we’ve used natural materials in their raw state. The variation and layering of these elements somehow feel intuitive as it relates to skincare.
