The product
A hand-applied seamless sound-absorbing ceiling and wall system: an acoustical board of recycled fibre, an acoustical plaster of perlite and recycled cotton, and an acoustical coating that carries the colour. A marble effect. It trades absorption for appearance — specify it where the acoustic duty sits elsewhere in the room. There is no grid, no tile and no visible joint.

Application data
Coverage, thickness, mix and cure, as declared by the manufacturer. Site conditions in the Gulf sit at the top of most of these ranges — allow for it in the programme.
Performance data
Every figure below is reproduced from the manufacturer's own technical data sheet, with the test standard it was measured against. The sheet itself is in the download section.
Where not to use it
The limits are as much a part of the specification as the performance. Everything here is stated on the manufacturer's data sheet.
Acoustic plaster: Fellert Even Better Marble seamless acoustic plaster system by Styjl, comprising the Even Better acoustical board at [25 mm / 39 mm] fixed to the approved substrate with Even Better Board Adhesive or Spring Washers, Even Better acoustical plaster applied to the manufacturer's wet thickness, and Even Better Acoustical Coating in colour [ref], finished to the approved sample panel. Sound absorption NRC 0.60 at 39 mm to ASTM C423 type A mounting. Supply and application by Earth Layers by Conmarble as exclusive Middle East dealer for Styjl.
